Laugh of the day

My sides still ache!!!!  We have this ball for the guinea pig to roll around in and as I was working on the computer, Ebony came in the room like this.  She must have been sniffing around and got it stuck on her head.  When I finally stopped laughing enough to take a picture then I could relieve her and pull the ball off.  It was on there pretty good.  Poor girl!

Swamp Mushy Muddy

We had two days of wonderful rain that left us a nice mud puddle.  It was a little chilly for them to play in it without clothes so I just tried to keep the mess a minimum.  Yeah right!  They ended up rubbing it in their hair and eventually laying in it.  Oh well, thats what washers are for:) 

If you are wondering about the title of this entry, it is an Oscar the Grouch (Sesame Street) song that the boys kept singing which was quite appropriate.

We want to thank you for giving us our new friend "Linney".  She will be well cared for and very loved.  We already went shopping for special treats and toys for her.  Thank you Thank you Thank you :)

A new member of our family

"Change has come to America"

    I cannot fully express the emotions running through our house today, tears of joy and exhales of relief are the highlights though. 

    It was a big task explaining the responsibility of our President to Jarron.  But after a half hour of questions and answers I think he understands a bit.  He said to me that the "old President (Bush) made our country sad", and that "Obama will help people if they get broken bones or need money."  He also told me that he "likes Bush a little bit because it is not nice to tell people that I don't like them."

    My son is definitely a bigger person than I am already.  I am very proud of him and I hope that Barack Obama will stand up to his expectations.
