I am painting ivy on our living room wall. Eric is the artist so he sketched it out in pencil and I am putting the color to it. It will wind up the decorative window (which I plan to turn into stained glass) and around the other side to the door. My wonderful stepmother Lyn has made me curtains for these windows and I plan to finish it off with the new non-fading, non-warping bamboo 2" blinds. I am having fun decorating but it is a slow process for me, money and time wise. I will also post pics when it is finished.

Big Boys
Wish me luck! We just got big boy beds for Jarron and Mason and I am crossing my fingers that they stay in their new beds all night long.

San Diego
We visited my
dear friend Lori
and her family in
San Diego, CA.
for the week and had a wonderful time. First we went to Sea World and it was perfect weather. Jarron's favorite was the Bat Ray petting pool. He fed them pieces of squid by hand and loved every minute of it. We actually had to take him back for a second time because it was all he could talk about. Mason really liked the sea lion and walrus show. Both boys enjoyed every part of the day.
We then took a day off and just hung around the house and let the boys play. Jarron and Robbie got along great this visit. Mason just tags along :)
Next was my favorite, the beach. Torrey Pines Beach is beautiful and not very crowded. It was a little cold for everyone except me. The boys shivered most of the time, but still managed to have fun exploring. Bobby and Robbie built a big sand castle that Jarron enjoyed destroying. Eric found a crab that Jarron and Mason played with for a while.
It was very hard to leave the Martinez family because we miss them so much. Thanks Lori and
Bobby for the wonderful hospitality. We love you!
